The "project for carpentry" is in response to an invitation by the Fio de Prumo, a furniture store, for artists, designers and architects to propose interventions in their shop space at its inauguration. Having chosen the area of the ancient carpentry of the former sugar refinery we proposed to reuse the wooden moulds made in place, the armour fluorescent lighting, workbenches and other existing pieces.
For the final combination we mixed two pieces of our own design: the mirror "S1" and a set of tables, "Texas." Underlining the connections between the different ambiences, a silver lining glued to the floor connects the two areas of intervention.
